Best viewed large... hopefully its clear that you can see a planet covered in explosions ala Mass Effect 3.
I decided just to be done with this image. I've poked and prodded and poked some more at this image. I'm satisified with it. I admit that I've never seen game art that has Asari with anything other than white or black facial markings (assuming that the thing on Samara's head didn't grow there) but unless somebody has a real life photograph of a real life Asari, I'm good.
If you're not familiar with Mass Effect series this is an Asari one of the races found throughout the series. They're always female.
For those familiar with the game, I really enjoyed it, and I'm still trying to figure out if Bioware really screwed up or just pulled a modern day equivalent of "Little Nell." Regardless of all the pikers furor and opinions on how the third game in the series should have ended, it is a brilliant game. The moral choices you make in many cases, were amazingly powerful for a completely fake universe, with fake people, in a video game.
